FAQ'S

Q: What does a basic Home Inspection include?
A: Basic Home Inspection services include inspection of all visible and accessible plumbing, gas appliances and connections, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, oven and cook-top, heating and air conditioning, chimney, electrical and all electrical fixtures, interior and exterior walls, floors and floor coverings, ceilings, doors, windows, roof and interior roof structure, foundation and soil grading and drainage.

Q: What about a Pre-listing Inspection?

A: Nobody likes surprises.  Some repair surprises  can not only delay the sale of your property, but can also scare potential clients away all together.  By getting your property inspected before you list it, any major repairs can be done before you start showing your property helping to make the sale of your property an easier transaction.

Q: How Long will the inspection take?
A: A Home and building Inspection will normally take 3 to 4 hours. Time will vary depending on the size, the age and the condition of the home.

Q: What about Commercial building inspection?
A: A commercial building inspection can take 2-3 days to complete depending on the size of the property. A commercial building inspection requires compiling detailed information and images from several sources as well as additional consultation and evaluation.

Q: Do I need to be there?
A: You should be there.  You are welcome to be there throughout your home inspection . We recommend you be there toward the end of the home inspection where we go over every issue on the report with you in great detail. We'll do a complete walk around together making sure you understand every issue.  Digital image references make items you would not be able to see easily accessible.

Q: Why do I need a home inspection?
A: Your new home is most likely the most expensive purchase you will ever make. A Documented home inspection is an investment in your future. You and your family's future depends upon the reliability of the structure and the dependability and sfaty of all electrical and mechanical components inside the house.

Q: Should we have a warranty inspection done?

A: Yes.  Repairs in a new home can sometimes take months.  It is important to get all necessary repairs documented with photo's for easy reference later to ensure promised repairs get done.  This can also assist in appliance warranties.

Q: What about questions after the inspection?
A: Call us any time. We will answer questions within 24hrs. If you're not happy , we'll come back and inspect it again.
